Stage 5
Schematic Design
Once the final concept design gets established, the Schematic / Design Development stage starts, taking on board more functional and practical considerations to allow your appointed contractor to take on the job.
The schematic drawing package will be prepared based on the operational and infrastructural
details shared by your internal team (if any) and any appointed consultants (Mechanical, Engineering, etc).
This will include details such as ceiling/lighting/flooring principals, plans, profile drawings, indicative sections, elevations, sketches, renderings, presentation boards, finishes schedule such as floor coverings, wall finishes, reflected ceilings, laminates and hardware finishes; furniture placement plans, FF&E, fabric and lighting selection and other appropriate information.
