INTERIOR DESIGNER
The job is 100% remote and accessible only to freelancers.
We are searching for a quirky yet sophisticated Interior Designer with Retail experience to join our team of trustworthy freelancers to support us on our exciting projects.
Responsibilities

Designs interior spaces, including permanent architectural details and temporary elements

Ability to keep up to date with the latest design trends in Retail (especially luxury retail)

In-depth knowledge of furniture systems and finishes

The ability to work within budget constraints

Assesses and meets client requirements and desires through regular meetings and conferences

Produces sketches, drawings, and floor plans to illustrate concepts and finished projects using softwares and hand-drawing skills

Creates mood boards to communicate design concepts to clients

Selects design strategies and colour palettes to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing environments
-
Enhances and improves interior spaces’ functionality by modifying architectural elements
-
Performs research and maintains a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds

Works closely with various colleagues, including architects, artists, contractors, painters, upholsterers, and building inspectors
Requirements
-
Min 3+ years of experience in Interior Design

Works and own the following design softwares:

Cinema 4D
-
Vectorworks
-
Adobe Indesign & Photoshop
-
Proven experience in Retail Design
-
Highly detail-oriented
-
High organizational skills
-
Ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing interiors.

Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics.

Understanding of building codes and inspection regulations related to retail interiors.

High levels of creativity and imagination
